Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This policy applies to digital CAD and 3D-design extensions purchased from CAD Tools Studio.
Cancellation before delivery or activation
You may request cancellation when payment was completed but the digital product has not been downloaded and the licence has not been activated. Requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of payment.
Eligible refund situations
- A duplicate payment for the same order.
- Payment was captured but the purchased download and licence were not delivered.
- A verified technical defect prevents the extension from operating on a SketchUp version explicitly listed as compatible, and support cannot provide a reasonable correction.
- Any refund required under applicable law.
Normally non-refundable
- Change of mind after the RBZ was downloaded or the licence was activated.
- Use with an unsupported SketchUp version, operating system or third-party software.
- Installation errors caused by not following the supplied instructions.
- Requests involving shared, transferred, redistributed or tampered software/licences.
How to request a refund
Email sale@cadtoolsstudio.com or use Support Chat. Include the account email, order reference, plugin name, payment date and reason. Never send full card or banking credentials.
Coupons and refund value
For a discounted order, any approved refund is based on the amount actually paid after the coupon discount, not the original list price. Coupon codes are not converted to cash or restored automatically after a refund.
Licence effect of a refund
When a refund or chargeback is completed, the related licence and protected download access may be disabled. Keep a backup of project files before removing an extension; the extension is not a storage service for SketchUp models.
Processing timeline
We normally review a complete request within five business days. If approved, the refund is initiated to the original payment method and is normally reflected within 5-7 business days, subject to the bank or payment provider.
