CTS Wall Groove Pro
Version: 1.0.0
Internal support build: WG100-20261020R
Date: 20 October 2026

FINAL TOOLBAR
The approved R groove and T-Patti engine is retained byte for byte. The main
toolbar now contains Wall Groove, Edit Groove and About & Support. Optional
Inspect & Repair Pattern is available inside About & Support; ordinary groove
creation does not require the separate inspection workflow. Built-in mesh
validation, rollback and saved error reports remain active.

REPORTED PANEL TRIANGULATION FIX
The latest supplied wall groove pro test.skp contains the reported connected
panel with 20 source faces, 43 internal guides and 18 perimeter edges. Its
stored loops and guide coordinates reproduce an almost-collinear generated
quad in a valid test tessellation. Always choosing the same diagonal made a
nearly flat triangle and drove temporary construction scale to approximately
1.59e13. The saved SketchUp report independently shows a comparable scale
of approximately 1.16e13. This is a generated triangulation defect, not evidence
of a gap in the user's drawn pattern.

Convex four-corner patches now compare both diagonals and choose the one
whose weakest triangle has the better shape. The same four exact corner
objects, boundary subedges and covered area are retained. No construction
scale cap, widened weld or skipped planned face is introduced. At the reported
one-inch width and half-inch depth, all six generated source tessellations
now use the normal 1000x construction scale. Additional checks cover 10/18 mm
T-Patti, closed insert volume, inclined/mirrored placement and reversed fronts.

NATIVE INSPECTION AND REPAIR UPDATE
The former inspector only validated a numerical mesh. It could pass while
SketchUp later omitted a planned native face. The separate Inspect & Repair
Pattern command now runs the real selected-line creation dispatch, including
actual native face creation, dimension restoration, material assignment and
T-Patti placement. The command's own operation is aborted after a successful
test; it cannot save a cut or a groove edit record. Source references, original
selection and the edit context are recovered after rollback. No nested or
transparent inspection operation is used.

Inspect Native Cut tests normal creation. Repair & Retest enables a bounded
retry for native face rejection. Repair replaces internal diagonals between
adjacent coplanar generated triangles when that improves their shape. It
preserves all exterior patch edges, corner coordinates and area, and cannot
cross the supplied source/material/finish groups. Noncoplanar patches cannot
be flattened. Caller callbacks run only for a complete accepted attempt.
Unrelated errors and unsuccessful repairs remain explicit failures.

Native emission verifies the final face collection after the builder block,
as well as the handles returned inside it. Missing native faces include
bounded failed-triangle diagnostics in the saved report. A pass is tied to
the active model, model revision, selected occurrence, geometry, units and
parameters; changes require inspection again. A repaired pass carries its
repair setting into Create and the saved groove operation.

The optional inspector opens from About & Support. Its dialog has separate
Inspect Native Cut and Repair & Retest buttons.
The package contains only the R root and retains public version 1.0.0.

VERIFICATION
585 automated checks pass across 53 suites. All 56 production Ruby files
(including the extension loader) pass syntax. The supplied Component 21
patterns and existing groove/T-Patti regression contract remain covered.
Native emission rejection, omitted faces, callback lifetime, retry limits,
patch boundary/area preservation, transaction cancellation, source recovery,
selection/context restoration and UI/server approval are covered with
explicit API doubles and numeric geometry.

SketchUp Desktop is not installed in this execution environment. Its geometry
kernel and actual UI/Undo stack were not executed here. The new native
inspection runs on the user's installed SketchUp. Repair is conservative and
cannot guarantee a fix for every geometry failure; Create remains blocked
when its native test fails. No 0.01-second universal runtime guarantee is made.

INSTALL
Install the updated RBZ and fully restart SketchUp. Use Wall Groove normally.
For a failing pattern, open About & Support > Inspect & Repair Pattern, pick
the connected pattern and press Enter. Set dimensions and T-Patti, then click
Inspect Native Cut. If it fails, click Repair & Retest. Only this optional
diagnostic workflow requires a passing test before Create. About & Support
retains the small WG100-20261020R footer.
