CTS Building Builder Pro 1.0.0 — Final Release

V1.0.11 keeps guide-line geometry independent from the wall solid. A loose
line drawn on or just in front of a grouped wall is projected to the nearest
valid wall face. Straight paths are recessed directly into the detected face,
without relying on Solid Tools Boolean operand behaviour.

- Window Frame Pro now shows only Auto Opening Placement and Manual 2-Point.
- Selected Path / Bay Window, Draw Path Window and Path Window Guide were
removed from the window placement interface as requested.
- The normal Window Picture Guides remain available.

Previous 1.0.5 features:

CTS Building Builder Pro 1.0.5 — Complete-Length Path Windows + Glass

- Selected and manually drawn Window/Glass paths now generate continuously
from the exact first point to the exact final point, with no overall length
restriction or uncovered tail after the requested panel count.
- Short chords in arcs and curves use adaptive local frame/post clearances so
fixed-size members can no longer suppress glass on later curve segments.
- Pressing Enter while drawing includes the final hovered point for both Path
Window and Interior Glass instead of stopping at the previous clicked point.
- The glass planner validates that every adjacent piece is continuous and that
the final piece reaches the full measured path length before creation.

Previous 1.0.4 features:

- Curved, L-shaped and stepped windows now use one polygonal shared post at
every bend. Duplicate rotated sash jambs were removed, so adjoining frames
meet cleanly instead of overlapping or appearing twisted.
- Selected / Drawn Path Window placement now asks for window height before
creation and accepts unit-aware values in mm, cm, m, feet or inches.
- Selected-path detection now accepts connected loose edges, an entire
SketchUp curve selected by one edge, a face boundary, or a nested path-only
  group/component, with transformations preserved.
- Glass Partition Selected Path uses the same repaired path collector, with
clear messages for disconnected or branching selections.
- A dedicated illustrated Path Window Guide is available from the window
  placement chooser.

Previous 1.0.3 features:

- Glass Partition now opens an explicit path chooser: Use Selected Path or
Draw Path. Connected lines, L-shapes, polylines, arcs and curves are supported.
- Glass panel planning is split at every real path vertex, preventing a panel
from bridging diagonally across an L-corner or curved-path segment.
- Window Frame Pro adds Selected Path / Bay Window and Draw Path Window.
Curves and 3–4-step facade paths create connected fixed-glass window panels
with one shared vertical post at each corner and trimmed segment rails.
- Selected-path windows retain editable height, frame/glass profiles, panel
rows and columns, materials, position, setback, presets and live preview.
- Existing Auto Opening and Manual 2-Point window workflows are unchanged.

- Existing modelling parameters and geometry builders are preserved.
- Stair Builder is removed from this plugin; stairs are supplied separately.
- One unified dashboard replaces the previous embedded and file-based interface
duplication. Category tabs, global tool search and compact cards preserve the
normal sequence from source preparation to reports.
- The standard Ceiling tool is restored under Room Finishes; every defined tool
is now reachable from the unified dashboard.
- Creation dialogs expose Create Another and reuse the current tool settings.
- Window and Door creation remain open after success so Create Another is visible.
- Action areas stay at the bottom while tool settings scroll.
- Responsive layouts adapt to smaller and larger SketchUp dialog sizes.
- Dialog callbacks report caught errors in SketchUp instead of failing silently.
- Dashboard, extension menu and category toolbars use one guarded launch path.
- Automatic and Manual are separate categories. Manual includes wall audit,
native Link CAD, Create Wall, Elevate Wall, Window Opening and Door Opening.
- Automatic contains Layer-Safe DXF, Reload CAD, Live Sync, Auto Build and CAD
  Face Builder.
- Opening Controls was removed because arbitrary SketchUp wall geometry cannot
be resized reliably after frame placement.
- Existing frame editors keep overall opening width and height locked. To change
the size, create the wall opening first and recreate the frame with Auto Fit.
- Copy / Paste Properties uses a pick-and-paint workflow: click one CTS source,
then click matching target objects repeatedly. Target placement and host path
are preserved while compatible parameters, materials and hardware are rebuilt.
- Window Grille Builder uses five supplied detailed SKP grille libraries,
separates top-level variants, supports Auto Opening or Manual 2-Point
placement, fits uniformly, and defaults to the back/interior side.
- Wall Builder Pro creates walls from drawn paths or selected lines, arcs and
curves with Left/Center/Right alignment, presets and custom profiles.
- Auto Build Performance includes angle-based smoothing, Smooth Normals and
Soften Coplanar controls. Audit and Elevate accept nested groups/components.
- Wall Groove keeps an explicit, persistent Inside Recess / Outside Projection
control in the same parameter interface.
- Interior Glass adds framed hinged, top-running sliding and frameless/shower
systems. It accepts selected connected edges, SketchUp curves or a drawn path.
- Glass assemblies store their complete path and parameters for later editing,
including panel count, door position/offset, heights, profiles, track, floor
guide, tempered-glass thickness, corner clamps, hinges and handles.
- Interior Glass frame junctions now use one shared post per panel boundary;
top, bottom, transom and sliding-track members stop at the jamb faces instead
  of overlapping them.
- Door glass and transom glass now meet their correct rail/track heights without
  subtracting the profile twice.
- Frameless clamps and glass hinges use paired rectangular pressure plates on
the front and back faces of the glass.
- Fixed the universal-unit callback used by current SketchUp HtmlDialog builds
and prevented explicit inch/mm values from being converted twice on reopen.
- Live Sync is controlled only by the Automatic tool card; the duplicate
  settings checkbox was removed.
- Opening defaults are Door 7', Window 3'/7', Kitchen 4'/7', Ventilation 7'6",
and custom cutouts 3'/7'. Elevate Walls now opens at 10'.
- Rectangular Wall Builder paths create one joined, mitred wall body without
internal segment seams. The drawing tool adds clear long-line preview,
inference snapping, arrow-key axis locks and 15-degree polar tracking.
- Opening Bridge validates a matching opposite jamb and no longer guesses a
nominal extrusion distance, preventing accidental room-sized slabs.
- Window Grille uses the same Auto/Manual placement chooser as Window Frame and
keeps Create Window Grille, Create Another, Picture and Close available.
- Closed Wall Builder paths now cut the inner room void through the outer wall
solid, eliminating the unwanted full internal cap. Clicking the first path
point closes and finishes the wall with endpoint screen snapping.
- The unified Builder Pro palette remains open when any modelling tool starts.
- Wall and Interior Glass drawing use Red/Green/Blue inference colours and the
standard Right/Left/Up arrow axis locks; Down Arrow releases the lock.
- Door and Window Bridge again supports wall pieces in separate groups by
ray-testing only toward the opening side of whichever jamb is clicked.
- Window Grille uses a flex layout so its fixed confirmation footer remains
visible below the presets bar at every supported dialog height.
- Door/Window Bridge uses the previously approved face-based bridge workflow.
- Bridge build 2026-10-12-BRIDGE-1 replaces the unsafe previous direction fixes.
- Native Push/Pull now follows the documented face-normal sign. For a clear
end cap the bridge searches only the confirmed empty-gap side. For a joined
  cap it tests both directions but accepts exactly one full clear corridor;
it never skips a nearer blocking surface to find a farther wall.
- The full sill/lintel bands must fit the opposite jamb. Multiple first-hit
rays confirm the corridor is clear before any geometry is changed.
- Opposite jambs split by coplanar CAD/material seams are checked as connected
cap coverage. Actual picked-face paths include the active editing context.
- The native face returned by Add Face must match the requested band area,
outline, orientation and absence of holes before Push/Pull is allowed.
- Nested/transformed wall coordinates and scaled Push/Pull distances are
converted consistently. Skewed scaling, ambiguous end faces, locked walls,
and shared source components stop with an explicit explanation.
- Orange preview shows the complete bridge span in model coordinates. Each
click revalidates the geometry; one operation encloses both window bands.
- Coplanar seam cleanup is scoped to the bridge and preserves material borders.
- 44 non-native numerical/source checks passed. Native SketchUp topology,
Apply/Undo and the affected SKP model still require acceptance testing.
- Diamond Grille was removed. Remaining supplied SKP patterns retain their
design while fitting their outside width and height exactly to the selected
window cutout; saved top-level SKP transformations are preserved.
- The picked destination sets the stopping plane, not the extrusion direction.
Extension follows the source normal and keeps sill/lintel levels horizontal.
- Each corner stops at the actual slanted plane. First-hit checks reject nearer
obstructions, backward intersections and bands outside the destination face.
- Builds extend the source wall's editable geometry directly. Matching band
  caps are removed at both ends only when the two walls share one context;
separate target groups/components remain separate and are not modified.
- All returned band/side faces must match their exact quad area and outline
before material, orientation or cap deletion is applied. Failure aborts the
operation; successful creation is one Undo step.
- Picking uses documented PickHelper paths and View.pickray/line-plane
intersection, not the nonexistent PickHelper pick_point method. Preview
checks are cached while hovering and fully repeated on Apply.
- 82 mathematical/source regression checks and changed-code Ruby parsing
pass; native SketchUp clicking, topology and Undo still need acceptance.

2026-10-12 - Review against the supplied Untitled.skp
- The supplied model's 194 faces were structurally decoded, with ordered
loops, occurrence transforms and plane agreement checked. The source SKP
is unchanged. This is a numerical model inspection, not SketchUp execution.
- Direction detection now tests the connected closed wall shell near the
clicked cap before using adjacent vertices. This fixes false two-direction
ambiguity at L-shaped and curved wall joins in the supplied model.
- Normal Window Opening and Door Opening automatically handle slanted
destinations; the successful parallel native Push/Pull path is retained.
- Click either the narrow opening end or its directly opposing footprint on
the far surface. Reverse picking identifies the same verified narrow source,
including nearby nested unique groups, without extending a whole broad wall.
- A narrower opposite face trims bands to the common projected width. The
original source outside that width, and all sill/lintel elevations, remain.
- Window asks for sill and lintel; Door asks for lintel. Existing saved units,
values and the Union choice are preserved. Slanted creation respects Union.
- Connected coplanar face coverage includes holes and boundary notches.
Division edges are merged only inside the exact band, with matching
materials; outer boundaries and unrelated wall divisions are retained.
- Reverse preview candidates are cached, deduplicated and limited to nearby
  visible geometry. Cursor filtering accounts for the clipped footprint;
the actual click rebuilds candidates and repeats first-hit validation.
- Seven real opening pairs were checked from both ends at three height sets.
The model includes a nonparallel prism pair and unequal-width cases.
- Numerical/source checks pass. Native picking, face creation, topology,
Undo/Redo and crash behavior still require testing inside SketchUp.

2026-10-12 - Opening tool simplification
- Removed the separate Slanted Opening Bridge command, button, toolbar entry
and standalone picker. Keep using Window Opening and Door Opening.
- Window and Door inputs, saved defaults, unit handling, Union choice and
placement behavior are unchanged. The unified angled-wall handling,
direction detection and width trimming remain inside these tools.
